Ginny's Open Bite Story

YOUR BEAUTIFUL SMILE, OUR CARING TOUCH--- 
following GINNY'S OPEN BITE STORY.....

Ginny first came to our clinic on Feb 2011. Her main complaint is "WINDOW" when she put her upper and lower teeth together. She can never let her teeth touch!!!!!!

We started a series of dental examination , including xrays (OPG, Lateral Ceph), photographs (frontal view, side view), intraoral photographs of all her teeth, and also model takings. We discussed with Ginny in details for orthodontic as the treatment option.

               Ginny is a very good and complience patient. She is willing to put on elastics (small rubber band) on her front teeth right from day1. Her treatment progresses well and every follow up with Ginny is a motivation for us. Ginny surprises us everytime.... In just about 9 months, for the 1st time in her life, Ginny can use her front teeth to bite together!!!It was such a great & delightful moment....We were all so excited, together with Ginny. This was done without extract any teeth except 4 wisdom teeth. Anyway ,we still leave the ortho arch wire on for a longer time, until all her teeth are more stable.

Dec 15 is Ginny's BIG DAY because we are going to remove all her brackets. Everyone is happy and excited. Ginny looks much younger, with a better facial profial, and a set of teeth that can function well. Most importantly, no more 'window'.
